Let me add she's a nice player and may be POY, however her commitment to VCU and selection to a jr all star team doesn't mean she's had best season

Player of the year has to be GRC's Sandra Skinner who has committed to VCU.

Why does it have to be? A college commitment doesn't make you a front runner. Bailey Cummins of Bracken Co. has had a better season.

How do the regional tournament sites get determined in the 10th region? And generally whose gym is used for the sites...Mason, Montgomery, Clark? Which district gets the decision this year on where the regional is held? Thanks.

Not bad for her first game with a new team. Did she ride the bus with GRC or come from Bath Co. Rumor I heard is she was still enrolled at school at Bath Co as of Friday afternoon. :idunno:

Seriously??? Enrolls late Friday afternoon at Clark Co. and plays in back to back Varsity games? WOW! If I were the other girls on the team that she jumped without proving herself, I'd be a little upset.

Also, how did she know the Clark Co. offenses? Was she practicing with the team prior to becoming a student? A little birdie told me this morning that she practiced with the team on Thursday evening... Is that possible without being a student?

Can Goldie answer these questions?

I guess my concern is this. How does an entire coaching staff (GRC's that is) take off work ( do they get personal days to watch and scout schools that are NOT on their schedule) and come to watch this kid in the All A State tourney (which GRC is not eligible to play in), sit with and talk with the girl's mother in the stands at the tourney and leave IMMEDIATELY after that game is played and two weeks later she shows up at GRC. I mean I get the whole middle school parameters debate BUT I mean how obvious does it have to be to everyone else. GREAT people involved in this whole scenario. Really good people but what right is right and what wrong is wrong. If Billy Hicks showed up tonight to watch two middle school players from Whitley County and they were playing Barbourville everyone would be ready to call the KHSAA in a heartbeat right?

Good post Corners In!! I hope for the integrity of Clark Co. and high school girls basketball that this whole situation is not true, but it does seem a little fishy to me.

There was a lot worse contact let go under the basket on numerous plays!

She was still able to heave the ball to the basket, so if contact, it was minimal!

They let a lot worse go throughout the contest both ways!

Saying that the foul wasn't obvious... I didn't see contact with the shooter. Game should've been decided by players in OT

Not from my angle... He wanted to make sure the game ended in regulation... That was obvious.

On a beyond half court heave at that! Ref had to try and be bigger than the game! Game should've been decided by the players in OT not the individual wearing stripes blowing a whistle. Poor judgment on his part.
