  1. Pic in the paper is #29, Fangman. Jr safety for CCH
  2. Cleves hasn't played for two years and Beatrice plays offense
  3. Cov Cath's defensive move to using an "adjuster" free safety has resulted in the ability to respond quickly to offensive shifts and will no doubt showcase the talents of the defensive players. Hats off to Wirth for making the change.
  4. Ritter or not, CCH simply did not adjust. Snce JC threw a whopping two passes the entire game, would have seemed reasonable to leave the safety back and shove everyone else up to the line to stop JJ or at least force a passing game. When the CCH safety finishes with the most tackles, there's a problem.
  5. Bit my tongue on the other responses on the tshirt issue and respect the opposing view to this . But cannot ignore this post. If you honestly interpreted the original message to indicate that anyone should be promoting cancer, you should be concerned with ignorance, not lack of class.
  6. Coach Wirth has publicly said this is not a moral victory so I'll just take both of those words out of the equation. If the question is "What did the game reinforce for the coaching staff, prayers, and fans of CCH?" the answer is that they are back on track and their disciplined approach to every ounce of practice and game preparation is paying off. Simply put, they can now begin to "know" what until now they have "believed".
  7. As a side note...student senate for both schools got together and called this a pink out for cancer. Both schools print and sell tshirts and Highlands prints theirs to say Beat cancer and Cov Cath. They may have won but displayed a total lack of class on that one.
