  1. You can do so if your parent is an empoyee of that school district

It is America you have the personal choice to do so....................No eligibilty issues with non high school age students. You cannot move and keep your child playing a sport "in the old district." That player would be ineligible immediately upon them residing outside that public school district.
  2. I'm chill, if I'm not mistaken your post read, "the top freshman in NKY". Don't get an attitude because I post something IMO....It's hard to say someone is the best unless you have seen all the rest...

You need to chill. Just stating who I think is one of the best freshman in NKY. Just for your info, IMO stands for 'in my opinion'.
  3. I'm curious how you can say he is the top freshman in NKY..Have you been to all the Frosh, Jv, and Varsity games to watch all the freshman. Yes, he is a pretty good freshman, but there are alot others out there that play at schools where they may not get a chance to play varsity as an 8th grader or as an freshman...

The top freshman, IMO, in NKY is Suchanek from BW. Kid is an absolute nice ball player and he can do it all. Outfield, Infield and pitch.
  4. As I recall, it was not 5+ minutes maybe 2 to 3. What was the issue anyway? So, are you saying that Teegarden got away with something that Dunn did not?

Coop, maybe you should ask the umpire after the first pitch, why he had him stand on the field for 5+ minute delay and then tell him he had to stand different from the way he's stood all year, which is very similar to Teegarden. That is the only time he would have even looked "nervous". You would also need to understand who's been pitching what games all year, against who and what their true ERA's are. Control at times? Yes! ERA? 1 or 2 for the team and against upper tier teams. There are dynamics within the pitching staff you or anybody are just are not aware of.
  5. I also agree, I was very suprised the JV tourney game was not given first priority.

JV Tourney! Ryle vs. CovCath at CovCath.

Surprised that Ryle didn't give up the varsity game at Ryle, to move that game to CovCath, than to move the JV tourney game to CovCath! Is the CovCath vs. Ryle varsity game your senior day Coop? I mean the varsity is just a regular season game were as the JV game is the Tourney game!

  6. Yeah, there had to be something to cause this to happen. Does anyone know anything about the school he chose to transfer to?

For him to get the scholarship the second half of the year there had to be an event to open up that scholarship. Athletic Scholarships are a year to year contract. WKU has a good sized recruiting class coming in and my guess is that in his year end meeting with the coach future playing time was discussed.
  7. If I'm not mistaken 2 games have been played. St. Henry beat Beechwood and Campbell Co. beat Bishop..

Blind draw, as always. The bottom half of this tournament is stacked.

I'm assuming the games today weren't played, so that already starts backing up the tourney, since a couple brackets can't be started until these play-in games are decided. With the weather forecast this week, it might even be a challenge to get this thing in. Not that the weather forecasters have an earthly clue these days, but sounds like Friday is the only day without rain being predicted and yet another storm system comes in for next weekend, which is great since we need the rain. :irked:

Sounds like Champion Window Field to the rescue . . . .

  8. I'll take Boone just because of their 1-2 pitching combo with Teegarden and lauman...Probably the best one two punch in the region

Could that be altered due to various graduations? I know weather can cause havoc in postseason baseball but lots of regions get rescheduled for school reasons. It might appear to be a day off between games but could turn into back-to-back games.
  9. Regular season is a dress rehersal for districts and regions? It's really hard to justify which team is better unless both teams are throwing their best pitcher(s). Yes, they beat a really good Boone team whom is struggling with hitting at this moment. Congrats on the win Beechwood.

Yes, Beechwood is a 1A school so they will play all the other 1A schools. If you don't like that, that is your problem. Win or lose, the fact that Beechwood played Connor actually works against your poor schedule arguments. By ignoring the wins over Boone Co. and NCC since your denigrating post, I believe you now have joined ukyfan#1 in the ranks of posters who see only what they want to see. I am disappointed that you can't give credit where credit is EARNED. I believe it is time for Beechwood fans to hit the ignore button on you and :walk:
  10. This is true, I also think the coach has put himself in this position with some of his actions in the past.

It's been a very dissapointing year for Cooper on several fronts. I think Coach should play his best to win and if the parents of those who are sitting don't like it, then so be it. I know the Athletic Director would back him up on playing time issues.
