  1. Logically, what could Clay Co being playing for other than pride; if HC defense can limit Reid, then they'll win by 14 +; however Clay Co is still capable of winning that game if HC plays mediocre, which I don't expect.
  2. Coach Donahue has been uncertain about lane responsibility in the kickoff coverage, which explains his hestitance in kicking the ball deeper.
  3. Clay Co. has really struggled since the loss of Hooker, however they played Whitley County close, but do they have enough in the tank to beat LCC?
  4. Pulaski dominated South Laurel, which Southwestern struggled to win that game. Since the loss of Muse the team has been playing pretty solid, but I believe Southwestern's rushing attack will be too much for a Pulaski D that is suspect against the run.
  5. No way Harlan County can match the talent of Bell County, so would predict blow out by Bell County; however, Harlan County has the potential to beat both Perry and Clay; Amis will be the most skilled player to play against them and Perry County Central is offensively more skilled than North Laurel, but Harlan County is believing that they can win and proving folks right. I think it being a home game gives Harlan Co an advantage and a close win.
  6. I think the biggest questioning looming is the inexperience in the secondary for Harlan and their ability to stop a Pineville team that does not care to pass the ball; Harlan will be able to rush the ball, which they struggled mightly against Hazard. If Pineville attempts to overload the line of scrimmage, which Hazard did effectively, then Harlan could struggle offensively. However, the size of Harlan's O-line will prove to be the difference maker is a close district game.
