If Sara did go to EKU or some other "non-elite" college, she would make them an Elite school. Its the players that make the schools what they are.

You r correct BD Chem when u say any D-1 is elite. My own child, whom everyone is saying is D-1 material isn't getting the door beaten down from coaches at that level. Now, concerning Sara, she is the best player to ever play at Rockcastle. She has done things that just stand out among the other girls on her team and ones that she has played against. But she has had help from her teammates and she is not shelfish in her play. For example, the Fothergill girl at Southwestern scores 28 a game but the majority of the offense runs through her. With Sara, its probably 60-40. But thats probably why Rockcastle is a contender every year in their District and Southwestern isn't. Sara would probably score 40 a game if she was told to shoot it everytime.

UK probably knows they don't have a shot at Sara..... They didn't recruit her hard enough in my opinion.

Moss is the best Sophomore I've seen and possibly the best player this year in high school.

Obviously Clyde doesn't get what happened. If he had a team in it and they got as many crappy calls as Rockcastle he would understand why Rock fans, and alot of other school fans and even people that didn't have a dog in the fight have been saying. The Refs did a poor job calling the game and communicating with each other.

Yea, Tavie is an awesome player with unlimited potential, my daughter played ball with her over the summer and we got to see first hand some of that potential.

A very big game for both teams early in the season. Does Rock get revenge for last year or does Lincoln prove that they are truly the team to beat in the 12th? What are the thoughts on the game and the match-ups of players. I'll probably go watch this one.

I don't even see this one as being close. Pitt by 21 and they may be head hunting Carson Palmer.

Don't use the injuries for the Bungles as an excuse when the Steelers beat them. The Steelers are without 4 starters and have been for most of the season.

From what I've seen over the last two years of Mercer, they get the most out of thier talent than any team in the 12th. They seem to be very well coached. A feisty bunch that could pull off some upsets throughout the season.

Rockcastle did get a transfer from Somerset as well as I think, Garrard Co. Don't know very much about them except the girl from Somerset is a freshman and the other one is a Senior. Sorry, I didn't catch thier names.

Rockcastle has decent size if everyone does play, and what I saw of Casey Co. is they will surprise a few people.

I dont know Colonel, 27-5 will be hard to get a no.1, how about a no. 2 seed and a trip to the final four!!!! Of course North Carolina or Duke will play close to home and that will give them an advantage. It happens every year.

I know probably the three premier big girls in the 12th region are Hammonds, Brown and Pittman, but who are the top guards and forwards? Bowlin from Wayne Co. comes to mind. After her theres Coffey from Somerset and Upchurch from Lincoln. Any thoughts on others?

Give the ball to Bowlin and let her penetrate for starts. She runs the team probably better than any point guard in the region.

I think they could use a few more athletes, but Fothergill should be a bigtime scorer this year.

I hope she keeps her commitment because she will really be a nice fit for UK, as well as them for her.

Alexander is going to West Point, is this true or just a rumor I've heard? I know she made a visit. If true, maybe she get the discipline she has been lacking.
