He's just not ready yet, he's a freshmen. Not to take anything away from him, because what I've heard he's a stud at the JV level. Pitching next year may be limited, I'd say he could compete for the everyday third basemen spot. Varsity is a whole different brand of baseball. Next year he might see some time in a relief role. Next year the Jugg's rotation will look like this: 1. McGuire 2. Pittman 3. Warren 4. Jouett 5. Brown. Relievers: Banta, Willett, Asher, Hillard.
The rotation should be Mcguire, Asher, Brown,Warren ( in no order) , Pittman is still nursing arm trouble. Banta, Willett and Jouett in relief. And In 2 years Asher and Brown will be the top 1-2 in NKY as a senior and junior. A little more expirence at catcher and this team should be fine next year.

I think this will be Ryle big, Elliot will have big numbers. Dixie will have trouble scoring against that Ryle defense. Ryle 35 Dixie 14

Last I heard he was living in Dayton OH...
He is in Las Vegas with his wife (high school sweetheart), 2 daughters and a son. Great person and athlete.

I would not call that game gift wrapped.. Don't forget Dayton scored their last Td on a picked pass at the 9 yard line..Now that is a gift. Lloyd won the game out right and deserved the win..Good luck to both schools.
Dayton had a TD called back that was a bad call, and that would have tied the game. The touchdown at the end was a gift, all Im saying is that Lloyd is still struggling to bring it all together. I think the coaches are still trying to decide what kind of team this is going to be on offense. The tackling needs to improve and so does the blocking up front. I root for and always will root for my Juggernauts to win but I have to call it how I see it. So yes they did deserve to win but I think I was trying to say that it was sloppy.

Dayton gift wrapped that win Friday, Cooper by 2 touchdowns, maybe 3 touchdowns. This will be a long year for the juggs sad to say, they will have their hands full with Cooper's running game.

Lawrence and Carroll from Simon Kenton
Sage Powell is a junior, right?

I thought more about this one, what about the kids buried on good teams that play JV for Highlands or Ryle, for example, that could playing at other schools? There has to be some serious talent out there that is stuck behind starters.

Dillion Smith, Dexter Smith, John Danks, Brady Asher, Sean Gomes , Charles Jouett all from Lloyd

Dixie may , indeed, win. I'd be stunned, however, if they hold Conner to 17.
That could be a stretch, can I change it to 35 to 28 Dixie? Not being tested yet could mean a quarter or 2 to shake the cobb webs off, if that happens it could be low scoring. I also see the potential to score in bunches so I'll stick with Dixie 35 Conner 28. Don't ask me tomorrow, I could talk myself out this one again, lol.

Ryle big in this one, to many weapons for NCC to stop. They win by as many as they want, I guess this make NCC better down the road when they are playing their 2A schedule. Is Hightchew getting time?

Conner has not been tested yet, Dixie on the other hand has played a much tougher schedule. I like Dixie by 10 to 14. Dixie 28 Conner 17. Conner was on cruise control last week, they better be ready or it could get outta hand.

This game should be competitive, finally playing a school thier size. I do not know very much about Dayton so I can't really give an informed prediction but I think Lloyd should be able to do things offensively that they have not been able to do the last 2 weeks, run the ball for one. Lloyd by 7 maybe 14, defensively they have to prove they can stop someone, hopefully this is their week.

In Lloyd's defense alot of Lions players are not directly from Erlanger, some are from Dixie area with Erlanger addresses, some are Saint Henry kids whom will not play football after Pee Wee Football. They also have some kids from the Boone County area due to boudaries. Lloyd has some young talent in its freshman and sophomore class this year that is playing varsity and will get better as the year goes on. As for the Lions program they coach to the talent they have and preach on kids going to play football for the LLoyd Juggernauts. Once in their own class will show they can plat football with that talent. JD
I agree with alot of what you said, just because a kid plays for the Lions does not mean he is going to LLoyd. St Henry kids will go to Cov. Cath and there are several kids who move out of district but are grandfathered into the Lions organization so they continue to play although they live in Boone County or Independence. I also agree that Lloyd should do better against schools in there division but there is an issue with the quality of coaching. Coach Lucas has to do a better job of playing to his strengths and getting the right players on the field. Hopefully changes are made and they can right the ship. How long until kids quit coming out completely?

Zeke was dominate this summer playing 16u. If he would have played 15u he would have been a flat out stud. He should be toward the top of this list. With his size, speed and strength he has the ability to dominate games.
You have to be 15 to play 15U or at least not turn 16 before a certain date. From what I understand he should be a junior this year.

I had a chance to see SK and they looked very good, offensive line was big and I was impressed with their overall speed. I really like their fullback #31, he can run and has good speed, he will do well with all the attetion Myles gets. For Dixie I like Wilson and Klei, I just don't think they have the offensive weapons that SK has, even without Myles, Sage Powell has game changing speed. SK 28 - Dixie 14 ,should be fun to watch.

I agree. Lloyd must play great to win and a little luck wouldn't hurt. Go juggs.
Wishfull thinking....Conner 56 Lloyd 7.
Lloyd 36 Cooper 35
in KY Football (High School)

Great win for the Juggs, the game turned around when Cooper was first a goal and didn't get Bradley the ball one time. I know there were penalties but he was carving up the defense. If you watched that game anyone there would have given him the ball 4 straight times. Oh well, thats why you play em. Give the Juggs credit for not quitting, they played a great second half. Maybe the start of good things to come.
