HS coach should never wear a hat in a regular season game. If we are talking summer then I think it is different.
As far as travel coaches, you never know what they may have on.
I agree.
-
Travel coaches are different.....they are weekend warriors. I don't think it is a big deal for them to dress down. Would seem over the top if they dressed up? I think high school coaches should be held to a little higher standard.....not necessarily shirt and tie every night.....but a nice polo and pants should be the norm.

Congrats to her----very nice player

I've said it before and I'll say it again....people complain the loudest when transfers don't choose their school. Let a transfer who can help their team inmediately transfer in to the school and the welcome wagon is rolled out to them to welcome them to the family.
Nah.....I don't have "a school." I just root for the ones that win with their own kids without "acquiring" players. But if you can't work hard enough to beat them, take the easy way out and join them!---the new way of the world!!!

Hearing this job will include parents on the interviewing committee (the same parents that wanted one of the assistant coaches to take over), unsure if they do that for teaching jobs as well. Do parents get to influence teaching hires?
Sounds like a lock for the assistant that they wanted. Probably going to board in a couple of weeks.
Sounds like you have some inside knowledge. Who will interview?
-
Why would you try to beat them when you can just join them???
-
and won't end soon!

5 of 12 is only 42 percent

Winning attracts winning
In high school sports? That is unfortunate! How about winning attracts working harder to try to beat the teams that might be a little better than you??? And if you can't, they are just better than you and you move on? I know, I know.....if you can't beat them, join them! I know, I know # 2.....transfer is for academic reasons. I know, I know # 3........blah blah blah.

Stranger things have happened........but last I heard (from horse's mouth), Perkins is DONE!

Direct conversation----not sure if it is posted or not

So the grass wasn't greener with a new coach........SHOCKER!!!!!!

Looking for 3rd coach in 3 years? Story?
-
Yep.....seems like unrealistic expectations to try to live up to.....if that is the case.
-
Huh?
Heard from a pretty good source............a no nonsense, non-gossiping source that there was a kid named earlier in this post that has left Scott and enrolled at Campbell.
-
Did anyone besides me have no idea this game was going on? Not much advertising? Or I was just out of loop?
-
Transfer from Scott to Campbell??? Confirm or deny?
-
I don't pull for anyone in the state (besides the Bearettes).....I have seen all of the kids above play on multiple occasions. In my humble, unasked for, opinion Robins is the best player in that group at this point and there is a pretty good gap to second.
-
Jason Burns from Spencer County?
-
According to Twitter......Boley transferring from Notre Dame? Anyone confirm or deny?
-
Is Jason Burns from Spencer County a candidate for this one?
-
In the past, I have openly commented on how unfair it seems that certain schools "attract" players every year. But I am tired of me "whining" about it. My eyes/ears can't take any more responses about it all being on the up and up. So I have decided to stop. I have decided to just root harder for the teams that don't "attract." Speaking of......didn't two of those just play in the state championship?!?!?!
-
As silly as this may sound.......I am pretty sure it is 2.....but some of them don't count toward that total? Somebody confirm or deny?
-
Very nice player! Congrats!
