They must stay healthy. This years team should have excellent speed but they must play with control and good defense. Carmack, Fryman, Fryman and Mitchell have played together for a long and with the younger Mitchell girl coming up they should have a strong starting five. They will still need to get quality points and minutes from the bench as well.

With Carmack already out with a torn ACL. The Lady Devils lost their 2nd starter. Junior point guard Chelsea Fryman went out with an ankle injury in the Grant Co. Holiday Tournament.

Could Deming surprise a few teams this year with that line up?

They need to focus on teamwork. This team has talent that needs to be tapped into. The under-classmen need to step up and give quality minutes. There`s a big difference in winning at a freshmen or JV level and being competitive at a varsity level. Mitchell, Fryman, and Carmack should play an important role in this teams success.
