The tempered glass protection as stated by someone else is a great purchase. I bought mine on amazon for less than 15 dollars.

iPhones do not come with "gorilla" glass for those wondering.

Went with the Fried Chicken sandwich, an order of the Brown Sugar Bacon, and a side of the White Cheddar Jalapeno Grits. Absolutely delicious as always. I still like their dark meat chicken the best though.

 

Wife doesn't like Fried Chicken, but loves their sides. She got an order of the Brown Sugar Bacon, side of Mac & Cheese, side of Spoon Bread, and a side of fries. :lol2:

 

It's well worth the wait time IMO.

^ I went on a Tuesday night at around 6 and walked right in and was seated. It was a calculated decision as I know they typically have 1-3 hour wait times.

I agree about the dark meat. Delicious. Mac and Cheese - delicious. Grits - delicious. All I have had thus far.

I made a really good lamb stew. Then Euchre with the in-laws, I got euchred on a loner.

Been there. Luckily it's still only 2 points. Sometimes you've just gotta go for it.

I still think if you go back and watch the 3rd season it's better than people give it credit for. When you binge watch it , it plays out a lot better with the story line.

Have fun dragging yourself through the 3rd season. Just get past there and you'll enjoy.

Is Marshall suppose to be cut? That's the first I heard of that.

Brandon Marshall's salary isn't crazy. I'd consider taking a look at him but Pats or Seahawks will offer him more money if/when he gets cut from Chicago.

PG. Briscoe and Ulis will be the backcourt next year. Cats need a scoring 2 guard.

If Newman doesn't want to fill that need and wants to go to LSU Cal will just have Ulis in his jock strap next year. :wave:

As for offensive side of the ball:

Mallett or Locker? I hate Dalton as much as the next guy, but come on. They ain't taking his job.

Harry Douglas wouldn't be a bad signing. He's shown he can be a reliable #2 guy. When White and Jones were injured for Atlanta, he put up good number as a #1 for Matt Ryan.

A #2 TE is a necessity. I'd take Casey over Fasano but I'm not crazy about either.

Jerry Meyer says he has multiple people telling him Newman will definitely not be at UK. I'll be disappointed if that turns out to be true. LSU may dominate the SEC next year if they can pull Newman.

Was at the Eagle last night and across the street was a new joint called Pontiac. Looked it up online and it just opened in the past month. A BBQ & Bourbon joint apparently. Looks solid. Will have to give it a try here soon.

As for the OJ argument, drinking a glass of OJ is okay and certainly won't kill you. But it is in now way, shape, or form good for you. If you're drinking OJ for the vitamin C benefits, you're doing it all wrong. Vitamin C comes in all kinds of foods and drinks. If you like the taste, great. Have at it. But anyone that claims OJ is good for you is incorrect.

Sounds like Dallas is trying to low ball him on his contract. Funny how nothing has been said about a video during the years before now. Now that's it's time for a new contract it starts leaking out.

It's a tough position for the Cowboys to be in. If you sign him to a huge contract and the video comes out, he's suspended with pay like AP until investigation closes. If you franchise tag him, Dez makes half of what he would with a regular contract and he's angry. No one wants angry Dez. That would ruin an entire season.

Just ordered some Chinese takeout for tonight. Chinese is one of the things me or the wife can't cook. But I have to get my fix a couple times a month.

Trader Joe's has fantastic frozen chinese meals if you have one near by. Buy whatever chicken or meat you like in the Chinese meal section and fry on the pan with some oil. Comes with veggies and sauce to mix in. Buy the Trader Joe's fried rice or make your own steamed rice. Delicious.

Not a good reference, Going for a foul ball and falling is a risk the person takes by choice, an opposing teams player getting run over by a storming crowd not his choice.

While I agree it's not the best comparison, my point was that foul balls have been the cause of multiple tragic injuries over the years. Court storming has been the cause of what? 1 or 2? People are calling for getting rid of court storming. Why aren't people calling for nets around baseball stadiums?

UKMF I don't know if you noticed but the wall of security guys worked out just fine last night in Richmond. They red rovered a wall so the players could shake hands and another group of security funneled them into the middle of the court.

Cats will be up for this one. It will be a close game until about the 6 or 8 minute mark.

Hawk is not a good player...but as of now Manny Lemur is a starter...so I don't really know.

I think we all know the Cov Cath section is the pick of the litter.

Richmond just stormed the court after beating VCU. They should punished to the full extent of the law! Those students should have been tear gassed! They're just idiot dumb students! Richmond should be handed a loss now! That game shouldn't even count!

While this particular story is no big deal, from first hand experience there was no bigger tool of a basketball player from at my time at UK than Daniel Orton. Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
