Campbell Co 57 Scott 53 final

Great game throughout. Scott led 52-44 with about four minutes to play. Campbell Co battled back and got the win. Kitchen for Campbell scored her 1000th career point and played well. The Bowling girl played very well too. Tibbs did her thing for Scott and finished with 31, two points shy of her

1000th career point. Benzinger of Scott played well and hit some big baskets.

Scott and Campbell Co play Tuesday night in a big 37th district game. Campbell Co is definitely the favorite. Scott has been playing better. Does anyone know if Kitchen will be back for Campbell? I had heard that she has a broken finger and had been out.

Scott is playing a little better and has strung together 3 good efforts. Close game in the first half, but Scott stretched it out in the second half. Tibbs had 36 for Scott and was tough inside. Good balance from a variety of girls including Jackson off the bench.

Boone Co. 58 Scott 49 final

Closer than expected. Scott hung tough.

Scott 54 Brossart 41 final

Big district win for the Lady Eagles. Tibbs led the way with 26

Madison Central vs Henry Clay in one semi final.

Monticello vs Mercer Co in the other semi final.

The facilities were fantastic. The new high school just opened a week prior to winter break and it is beautiful. I do not know the scores other than Mercer Co defeated Scott HS 64-52 to get to the semis and Henry Clay beat Ryle HS by two to get to their semi.

Jewel Rogers was very impressive. Tibbs for Scott had 30 points and really dominated inside. With a little help from the outside, Scott can still be a force that will draw some attention as the year progresses.

GRC 57- Scott 38 Final

It was a close game in the first half. GRC 27-Scott 26 at halftime. Scott struggled in the second half. The point guard for GRC had a very good game. (Not sure of her name). Scott has some work to do.

37th district:

Campbell Co. Scott, Bishop Brossart, Silver Grove, Calvary Christian (no varsity team this year).

Just to clarify a previous post. Scott lost to Ryle by 8. (51-43) Once again a pretty close game throughout. Ryle made free throws down the stretch. It was a battle throughout. Ryle is a very good team and will be very good for years to come with all their youth.

Scott has the potential, but their district is not easy. Campbell Co and Brossart are tough. Kitchen at Campbell is one of the top players in the region. Based on Montgomery Co.'s history, they are the team to beat until someone does. Scott has a good inside out threat with Benzinger and Tibbs. They played Highlands even most of the game except for one bad stretch and Tibbs had 31.
