  1. Good, much needed win for John. The first half they finally looked like a team and not 11 individuals on the field at the same time. They blocked well and played very good defense. They did have three turnovers in the first half, but the defense didn't let them score. The second half was a different story for the offense. Another turnover and so many holding penalties it was ridiculous. The defense continued playing good though and got the game winning interception to seal it.

Very good end result and the team is starting to "get it."

  2. First, I want to say congratulations to North Hardin. Their QB is really good and is Mr. Everything on their team. He's a really good athlete and ultra-competitive.

Second, let me say how disappointed I am in what I saw from John Hardin. They were the most undisciplined team I have seen in the last 12 years I've been following them. I can see the talent, but that doesn't get you anywhere when you have what seemed like a hundred unsportsmanlike penalties, fumbles, sideline warnings/penalties, etc. It was bad. I can't remember a drive that didn't have at least one penalty or fumble. There's a lot of work to do, especially in the non-existent passing game. We'll see how they progress during the season, but what was boasted as the first of at least two championship seasons, I don't see it. Since this was my first look at them this year, I hope this was an out of character game.

Again, congratulations North Hardin. You were certainly the better team tonight.

  3. The package is with PrimeSports. I called them and asked what is included. She rattled off a bunch of stuff. It's from the 27th until the 31st. Includes lower level sideline ticket, a dinner cruise, guided tour of London, breakfast, a VIP party with Bengals, and other stuff I forgot. I think the wife and I are going to go. She's always wanted to go to London, so it's the perfect time.

  4. Are you sure?

    New England has had...

    Pittsburgh

    Buffalo

    Miami

    Indianapolis

    Denver

    Houston

I heard it on TV as the rule, but I just looked it up.

Individual teams may make no more than four appearances on NBC during the season. Only three teams may make as many as six prime time appearances (Sunday night, Monday night, Thursday night, and Saturday night combined).[30] The remaining teams may make a maximum of five prime time appearances. In addition, there are no restrictions amongst intra-division games being "flexed."

3 teams can have 6, all other teams can have 5. Sorry for the mistake.

  5. The Steelers losing certainly helped the Bengals. I bet they waited for this result before the flexed the Houston/New England game to SNF on 12/13.

I would agree with the above, but also in the mix would have been the Bengals/SF Sunday night game. With the exception of Week 17 (rules don't apply), each team is only allowed 5 Primetime games each year. If the Cin/Pit game was going to be flexed to Sunday Night, they would have had to remove the Cin/SF from Sunday night since Cincy has 5 Primetime games already.

  6. Sorry for the broadcast issues. The bandwidth at the stadium was worse than we projected, but we were able to reduce the quality to stay connected. I know it wasn't ideal, but I hope you were at least able to hear and see some of the game. Thanks for tuning in!

I watched the entire broadcast. Yes it wasn't ideal, but the audio was perfect and the video was tolerable. Bad weather can do that. Thanks for your work.
