  2. Good looking crowd huh Ebrown? Nikki needs to not be so aggressive when it doesn't really matter, I agree she has to be in the game to deal with Ms Dixon.

I've never been acused of being easy on family! Ask #44  We talked about being smart on the floor. Tonight didn't hurt but it could if it happens on Thursday. I did see my better side and even better half in a photo! :jump: MSJ was there tonight and they were looking for an agressive player!

  3. Heard it was a fantasic game until the end. Apparently, I have been told by someone there that Coach Stowers took a time out late in the 4th, did a bee line for one of his girls and double open fist chest shivered a girl because she didnt follow his instructions. Heard the girl starting crying and ultimately she was the same girl that called the timeout late in the game that SK didnt have. I guess she had the last laugh on the coach. BTW, I didnt think you were allowed to touch kids anymore in sports.

Couldn't be more wrong! Daughter plays for SK and that has NEVER HAPPENED! :taz: If the person saying it is not willing to stand on it NO ONE SHOULD BE passing it! :irked:

  4. That was (SK) PACE's dad.

Great kids all! Brown-Towles-Wainscott-Allen-Conner and (Tibbs) all played together last summer with Jim Cutter's Team on the Showcase Tour. I am still amazed how these players befriend each other! I have 15 players here from 3 different schools tonight with a sleep over :ohbrother: celebrating Senior Nights !!! All played against and with each other this year.

My wife / daughter owe me big for agreeing to this! :scared:

  5. Exciting game to watch ending regular season. Wish the outcome was the other way around but an exciting game. SK Senior Night for BROWN-PONZER-PACE. Great send off by team.

Ponzer and Wainscott with 17 each (?) Brown 7. Ponzer real good night all over. Wainscott really had to work for her production tonight.

Big mental mistake by SK player to end game, calling time-out with none left. That mistake, fouls 18 - 6, SK at freethrow line only twice, and several givaways, SK still in position to win and overcame a 14 point short fall while on the receiving end of a 15-2 run by HHS.

This has really become a great End-o-Regular Season contest between these two. :thumb:

So, I've been told the season truly starts Monday. I hope so, Lady Pioneers play W-TOWN at Walton 6:00. :walk:

  6. 30 / 30 at the half! (SK) had a 9 point lead at one point.

UGLY... second half for Lady Pioneers. (SK) never got their mojo back after losing the lead in the first half. Out scored 36 / 23. 13 points! and that is just about how many turnovers the Pioneers had.

Well, shake it off, Brossart on Monday at home and then SENIOR NIGHT on Friday with Highlands coming in for last regular season game.

Really fast and quick LC team! :isurrender: Kudos to them they played well tonight.

  7. I agree. E-towns intent was to embarrass on to improve. You have to understand that this happens all season long though. I bet if you check the KSHAA scoreboard you could find atleast 10 games with a 70 point margin of victory. Maybe 5 games with an 80 point margin. This game is getting pub because the point margin was 100+. Whats the difference in an 80 point beat down and 115 point beat down?

Well...:idunno:...maybe because it was done by a KY GIRLS COACH OF THE YEAR!

  8. I think this points out a bigger problem. There are quite a few games that could end up being this type of score every year. Why are these teams playing? I understand district seeding but why cant a team like ft. knox forfeit their seed? This is a wasted night for both teams, whether the coach of the dominant team takes it easy or not. The kids get nothing either way. There has to be a better way to do this..

You still get a good gate and since all athletic departments programs (at least in Kenton County Schools) are self - funded it is a good night. No matter who plays who the gate is generally good.
