I can't wait to see what happens in the playoffs this year! Its gong to be huge, anything can happen Raceland could finally see that long awaited championship trophy. I know Coach Vanderhoof wants this alot but the community of Raceland been starving for this for a long time.

I feel like the Ram team is as prepared as they can be for this game. This is truly a special group of boys we have playing for us this year. Several weeks ago, I was working in the High School on the day of the LCA game. The school had a pep rally that day, something we don't do often. When the team was introduced and they came in, I remember thinking that they weren't fired up at all. It made me nervous about the outcome of the game. Since then, I've come to realize that this team is just really good at staying on an even keel. It's like they aren't even worried about their own hype. Every Friday, the school is decked out in Orange and Black for the game, and the whole team wears their jerseys, but these guys just go about their day. Most of these guys are content to come into class, sit down and do their work along with everyone else. There is no cockiness, no arrogance about these boys. They are just ready to do what they have to do on the field. They have a great maturity about them. The coaches have done a great job in mentally preparing these kids for each Friday Night. So, I don't think all the hype about being 6-0 will hurt, because I don't think these boys listen to their own hype. Play strong tonight, boys!!!
