  1. Great win for the Raiders. At the beginning of the year I do not believe to many people thought that Ryle could go 18 and 12 in the regular season and be district champions. Coach Mullins has taken a lot of heat the past years and I think this season proves he is a pretty good coach. IMO he should be coach of the year in the 9th region and be in the mix for state honors as well.

  2. Every school has a few kids that go to far and some fans that are idiots. I have been around Ryle athletics for the past 6 years and know we have had a few moments that I felt were an embarrassment to our school and community. But I will say the times I have witness it happening the school administrators puts a stop to it. Last year when we played Boone Co. in basketball, some of our students decided it would be a good idea to sit right behind the Boone Co. bench. Before they even got sat down an assistance principle from Ryle was there telling them to get up and get back down to the other end of the gym.

  3. For you Trinity fans that are not able to make the trip to Union Friday night and for that matter the Ryle fans as well, Ryle broadcast their games on the internet.

I believe is the link. You will have to put up with our announcers :) but at least you can see and hear the game. I will say our announcers are good guys but I am sure they will come across as homer which in my opinion they should.
  4. Since the Ninth Region is not going to have programs at the tournament, could someone who know the names of the players their numbers and the team records post this information to the fans who then can print out the information and take there own program to the game with them please!

  5. Great win for the Raiders. Only the 2nd district championship in the schools history. Raiders played very well and Boone defense IMO was not that bad. Especially in the 2nd half. They really pressured Ryle but the Raiders were able to still get the ball up count and score. Wonder if it had anything to do with how they are coached? Anyway, Coach Mullins takes a lot of heat when things or going bad in Union and should now get some praise when things are better. Congratulations to the Raiders and good luck next week at the regional tournament. There should be some great games down at NKU.

  6. I think some of you might be missing the fact the Ryle plays pretty good defense too. Maybe that had a little to do with The Bulldogs scoring only 41 points. It was a good win by Holmes and shows they are able to gut it out in a tough defensive game. Both teams played hard tonight.
