  1. But the top powerhouses in Ohio do get wins consistly against teams from those states stated above!
  2. Mike Mitchell is a bluebird for life and that straight from the horses mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Highlands does have atleast one guy go div-1 every year. IMO I think a few more kids would go div-1 from Highlands if they were not played out of position.
  4. Camps and Combines are very useful if you go to the correct camps. This is where most of the big schools get there info on recruits. Most schools will look and camp/combine results and come to you personally and tell you exactly what they want to see on your highlight tape. Div 1 colleges don't have the resources or the time to examine every player in the country so instead they use camps as an eliminator. There are so many kids in the country who put up big stats every year and never get any looks because they don't go to camps. Camps are especially useful to kids who play in smaller classes, which can be used against them sometimes. Kind of random but the Ohio State camp is really good camp. It is a over night camp and there are something like 300 coaches from Div 1 to Div 3.
  5. One of my good friends hurt his in the middle of this past season and played the rest of season. He had his surgery in jan. and he was feeling great within a week, but I talked to the doctor personally and he said its different in every case. It could bother him for up to 2 weeks if it is still bothering him after that he should come back and see him.
  6. Better exmaple Jonathan Wallace same team. He was a walk on who could only shoot. Coach develops him into an all around point guard.
  7. I'm pretty sure UK just got ate up by a pair of sub 6 foot guards. With his ability and a good coach he could very well be developed . For examlpe a guy by the name of Roy Hibbert could not dunk in high school he had a coach develop his skills and now look him. Shooting is not a skill that you are born with it is a technique that you learn as well as ball handling. So why couldn't a kid with his skills be develop into the player the coaches want, it happens all the time in other conferences.
  8. Randy Lee played QB at Lloyd in I believe 93,94, and 95. Under sized, very strong arm, could run the ball pretty well. His number one target charles Sheffield played for Louisville. Randy's team had a really strong year in 95 going 13-0 before losing in the state-semi's. I don't remember his stats, but I've watch him in person and on film a countless number of times. He made so some really difficult throws look simple and I rarely saw him throw any picks. I don't know what happen to him after high school though.
  9. In 2004 vs Bell County Mike Mitchell's game winning touchdown.
