  1. Another WR to watch - Logan McDowell at Cov Cath. He is like Burns, not big but very fast.

    Agree, also Lee McClure.

The CovCath receiver corp will be very fast.

CovCath will most likely play 6 and 3 where members CovCath 4x100 rely team that finish 2rd in state and 4th in 4x200

  2. I saw a Cov Cath schedule for all levels (Frosh, JV, Varsity) but did not see Scott on the Frosh schedule. May not mean anything but usually all teams fielding true Frosh in N Ky play each other.

Freshman are limited to 10 games and if a Freshmen championship game is played(which may not be played) have to leave that date open. So if Scott plays a freshman schedule there may not be room for them on many teams schedule.

  3. I do know another area that Texas/Dallas is good in is getting road work done very quickly with little to no traffic interruption per truck drivers from different companies that come to my workplace. Northern Ky/Cincinnati, the whole state of Illinois and Pittsburgh get the biggest complaints. Truck drivers hate those areas

Many of the new roads in Texas have tolls.

In fact Texas was one of the first states to use the private-public method to construct highways(tolls)

  4. "So- not to interupt the "rah rah look at my teams players!" session and trying to stay on track with the OP's original intent- here is my take"

And then you proceed to list at least one CCH player in each position???

So you disagree with CovCath kids on list.

I think this is a good list of kids five months before the season starts, and IMO most people would agree with 80-90% of the names listed

  5. I talked to Coach Ruthsatz about 2 months after he came to CovCath, so take the rest for what it is worth based on how long ago it was. He told me he originally had asprirations to coach in College, but that Coach Hurly councilled him, that having a healthy family life and being a D1 bball coach did not mix well. If he wanted a sense of balance in his life (if that's what you want to call coaching high school) that being a High School head coach was the path to take. That is one of the reasons he came to Covcath.

I always thought he had aspirations to be in the GCL. He feels a very devout Catholic and feels comfortable in the Catholic school system. I believe he has other sources of income, so that shouldn't be a driving force. After watching the State Tourn. this past weekend, I think moving to Ohio would be a step backwards in regards to HS basketball.

I have never discussed it again with him since, so his thoughts may have changed but that is the gist of the discussion we had a few years ago.

I hear the same comment also.
