Musselman-Dunne is the best due to good courses, well run tournaments, and Drew's watchful eye. Drew Rocks! They spend a lot of time marking courses and helping out the kids. We had a bad experience with Pepsi tour (KJGA) under Shannon. Pepsi has lots of stops and didn't do that well with running the tourneys -- e.g., yardage errors on scorecards. I'm hopeful that Aaron will turn Pepsi around. He's appears to be a class act. He and his staff also run the Kentucky Junior Amateur -- a must on the golf schedule. Pepsi also has a spring series called Mt Dew. These are a good warm-up. 7-Up is run by Daryl and Becky Landrum - also great folks. 7-Up hasn't had the same level of competition as Musselman-Dunne and plays some less than desirable courses. For 2008, they're opening the tour up to Cincinnati area and that should help the tour. Gatorade in NKy has been discontinued - it used to be an advanced tour for the 7-Up. Pepsi now has a Gatorade Masters Division which replaced GenX - an advanced tour run by Pepsi/KJGA. The best tournaments we've played have been the PGA Junior Series, sponsored by Callaway. There are only a handful in the area. They are well-run, have great competition and play good courses. They play at Kearney Hills in May.
