Meant to say district. Sorry for the error. I do agree that this game will be close. If it comes down to a free throw contest, I would take a 4th grade boys team shooting beach balls over SK. for SK's sake, the game needs to be out of reach by 2 min. period.

Lets see, SK beat them earlier (twice). Ponzer is back. Grant had one big win against Gallatin Co. and lost (blown out) last week to a Lloyd team that is below average. SK has lost 2 in a row, but 2 close games to really good teams in CovCath and a fully loaded Highlands team. Yes Layne is done, however SK played w/o him most of the year and played well. No disrespect to Grant, but the region runs through Independence! SK by 10.

if ponzer plays, sk by 6pts. if ponzer doesnt play, scott by 10 or more, with sk having 20+to's.

I dont know what you were watching. I have seen them play about 12 times this year. Maegley out played Mace, both time. Also, when Ponzer was healthy they turned it over too many times. 2nd Dixie game, Ponzer had a double-double. Points and TO'S. Ponzer is a good player that has to play too many minutes due to lack of ball handling by Slavey, Layne, and Barnes. maegley gets the most he can get based on his situation. He has back problems. He doesnt get timid. He just doesnt get enought touches. For example, 2nd Walton game, the SK guards tried to get in a run and shoot match with Walton (p. ponzer) and lost that battle. Also, Sk is the worst team in any region at feeding the post. Dribble, dribble, skip pass, and a jacked up bad 3, that leads to a lay up at the other end.

Sk determines the fate of this game! Is it going to be the SK team that dominated Barren Co., Dixie, and Gallatin County for quarters at a time; or is the team plays timid, doesnt take care of the ball, plays selfish, and doesnt look inside to Maegley. Maegley is the best big man in NKY. He outplayed Mace (twice), Geisler, and soph from Boone County. He disappears in games because he cant pass the ball to himself. Maegley is no Hurd, however, Hurd had guards that bought into the system and fed him the ball!!
