You could be right, but Reed in my opinion is the best defensive player the Tiger has and he is also a very nice shooter. But I think the loss of DJ Wilson in the OT period also really hurt the Tigers, but either way Pineville came out with the win.

Very shocking score!

Well I Looked on the KHSAA website and it said the Score was 45-40, but the radio said 44-40. But does anyone know any info on Kendall Reid, if he isnt able to play in fridays game against South that could be a huge blow for the Tigers.

Pineville has been considered one of the best teams in the region all year long. Also, I know Im a Tiger fan but I have to say I think if Kendall Reid had got to play that game that it would have never went to OT. But hey thats just a Tiger fan talking. But nice game by Pineville. Anyone who has watched the 13th region teams, knows that the field is WIDE open.

Clay Co does not put up huge numbers, but they manange to keep their opponents scoring low. The Tigers are a nice Defensive team. Also tonight, it seemed like the Tigers could not buy a basket. But the 13th region is wide open this year, you take Cumberland, Clay Co, Pineville, Corbin, South, Knox Central, and jackson Co and any of those teams could easily win the tournment.

Pineville wins tonight at home in OT. Did not get to attend the game, but I listened to it on the radio, sounded like a very nice game. Clay's Kendall Reid was injured on the first play of the game and never did return. Pineville Lead by Dustin Day with 18 Clay Co Lead by DJ Wilson with 14 (Wilson did not get to play the OT, because he was fouled out)

I agree this years 13th region tournment should be a Great one. Clay Co has some really tough games coming up, Breathitt Co, Lex Cath, Pike Central, South Laurel, Corbin, and Mboro. So the lady Tigers will be tested in the next couple weeks.

I think Clay and South play the 18th at South... I think the Region is very close right now, I still think Clay is the top team with Mboro, South, and Whitley on their heels. Clay has a great team but they would have been so much better if Stephanie Jackson had came back for her senior season

Well considering the fact that Les has Clay ranked #7 and Pineville #1, if Clay was able to go over to Pineville and win I Personally think that would be a upset. So what exactly would you call a upset? Also You need to check your facts, because Pineville came to Clay County last year and handed them a 45-71 loss.

I really think the 13th is alot closer than it has been any recent years, I still think Clay is the best team, with Mboro right on their heels. The loss the Whitley Co, I think showed the Lady Tigers that they can be beat by a 13th region team. But no one can forget South right now, they seem to be playing some really nice ball.

he was there for the Clay game, Im pretty positive. But thats the way they Played Clay, Clay was up on them pretty big at 1 point, and they just come out and hit some huge shots and ended up only losing by 9.

Also, The 13th is wide open this year I could see South, Pineville, Corbin, Clay, Knox, Jackson or Cumberland heading to rupp. It should be a great tournment!

Top 5 1. South 2. Pineville 3. Corbin 4. Knox Central 5. Clay Co Les, your going to have to move Clay Co atleast up in the top 5 now, I see a real shocker when Clay goes to Pineville this week, because I feel like they are going to pull out the upset.
