  1. Congrats to the Lady Raiders !! :dancingpa
  2. I'm not sure of the exact score but I think McCreary lost by 16.
  3. She said it was an old injury to her heel bone. She rolled her ankle during a practice and tore some ligaments and that caused some irritation around her ankle and heel bone. Hopefully she'll be ready to play soon. Congrats to the Lady Raiders! Good luck this season!!:thumb:
  4. She might've cracked her foot. I'm not sure tho.
  5. I think you're right Broncco. I'm not sure the Pulaski boy's family moved to McCreary County, tho. The Morrow girls family accually moved to Wayne, didn't they? I heard there might be some injuries to McCreary's team, any news about that? Is the Vanover girl in a cast?
  6. I heard Morrow was ruled ineligible, but their appealing again. Anyone else heard this?
  7. I have to agree with SSF. I feel bad for this team. Their success at this level will be sadly limited due to the fact that they do not have a strong leader. I saw some of these girls play at the middle school level, and they had tremendous success. A few even contributed at the high school, under coach Ross, and were great benefits to the team. Its a shame that they're surrounded by such disfunction, now. Its to bad they didn't keep Eddie Bartley, I'm sure he had what they needed to turn things around for this team. Just look at the past history for the jv team compared to last year, when he coached them. I feel he could've made a hugh difference if he had the head coaching position. What a shame
  8. Coach needs to be organized and be a strong leader. Players are only as strong as their leader. Players need to stay healthy and need to be motivated in games, as well as, practices. They're still a young team but they do have great potential.
  9. Is there any new info. about Morrows eligability?
  10. I'm not sure what your refering too, but I don't know Rob Jones that well. I have heard the McCreary boys are ranked high in the region. I think he also coaches the volleyball team, and I think their competing very well.
  11. The last info. I heard is, a hearing was held in Lex. with the KHSAA. The McCreary Co. AD and coaches were present, as was, the Wayne Co. AD, Morrow, her parents and lawyer in tow. As far as I know theres no ruling as of now.
  12. Sorry Jesse James, that quote was meant for luke16.
  13. If her mom does work at the Mcreary board of edu., there would have to be tension over this situation. Wonder why they "had" to move.
  14. I heard Eddie Bartley (who was the boys asst. for years and then girls jv/asst.) is very upset because he had been pushed out, of the girls program. From my understanding he was never given a reason and was contacted via e-mail. In my opinion he was the only coach they had, and a great one at that. He made a tremendous change in the jv team. It was rumored last year that some of the sophomore varsity players were begging to play jv, due to his coaching style. I saw him coach the boys a few years ago and I watched him a couple of times last season with the girls. He seemed to have all the qualities you would want for a coach discipline, respect, and knowledge of the game. Seems like a shame to get rid of him. Must be a lot of jealousy on the coaching staff or typical politcs, or maybe both. It would be a shame if Vanover didn't play or transferred. Shes a hard worker and a good ball player.
  15. I'm not sure but I think her mom works at the board of education.
