  1. That is the most ridiculous statement I've read in a long time. You can see the action from the seats perfectly fine from any seat in The Arena and you don't need a radio - even though that makes no sense because the radio is going to show you who has the ball:laugh::confused::sssh:

The floor seats are on risers as well and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Might as well get used to it, with the money North Laurel has made off this tournament, I don't see the vote ever getting reversed to go back to the high school gyms.:thumb:

I was starting to say this was a good idea until I seen the seats. I guess we will see how many people believes my statement is ridiculous after the first night of games. Every seat is a great seat at the arena.:thumb:
  2. Les, I just looked at the seating chart for the tournement...Are the student seats elavated?
If you are a B-ball fan you may try and get the seats that are left for 15$. Those are the seats down next to the floor. The 8$ and 9$ seats you may want to bring a radio to see who has the ball (LOL).:thumb:
  3. I believe every game will be interesting to watch.

Corbin vs Bell Co.- Corbin will win this game, but if the refs let them play physical, this could be interesting. Bell Co. has good size and a nice inside/outside combo with Maden and Robbins.

Clay Co. vs B-ville- I will give the win to Clay, but B-ville will make them score out on the floor. Look for B-ville to pack in the 2-3 zone.

South L. vs Knox- I will give the win to South, but if Miller has one of those games Knox could go home with a win.

Harlan Co.- vs North L.- North beat them at home a few weeks ago, but Harlan Co. did not have Houge. I am going to go with Harlan Co.

  4. No way this was an upset .... are you kidding me? Knox Central was playing at home .... had a healthy Barger back and the better team won and the Panthers were the higher seed. I'm not sure how anyone can say a two seed beating a three seed at home is an upset, and I don't care if Lynn Camp beat Central by 50 points at Lynn Camp. That's some funny stuff right there.
:thumb: When a team is playing at home in the district they are dangerous. Remember every teams record is 0-0 come district play.
  5. Maybe the best three in the district.....Letcher, Harlan and Perry, Clay and Whitley will be down, and North is on the move up.....

Top 2 teams in the district

    1. Letcher Co- Returns most of the skill kids of last years team.

    2. Harlan Co.- Returns 8 or 9 starters on "D" and both RB's.

Clay Co. and Perry Central should battle for that third spot with both teams returning key players. Perry Central needs to replace Amos @ QB. It seems like they had some young players playing other key postions on both sides of the ball. Clay Co. could be the team on the rise if they stay healthy and Hooker returns at QB.
