Highlands will name the score, they are way to fast and physical, don't think they can match up with Highlands at any position.

It is the same Kelly and I think he is much better this year, he is the 3rd brother and Chris is the the 4th. Mark is a great runner with excelelnt vision and great balance and you said it right he doesn't like to go down. Chris is only a sophomore and plays like he is a senior he is going to be a great one by the time he is done. NCC feels that they should have won the state last year and fell to a very good Ft. Campbell team so in there minds there is unfinished business to take care of and they look very focused.

Thomas Magnum you talk about the big backs from Corbin, NCC has played big backs, fast backs all year it will be nothing new to them. They have also played against some great defenses, NewCath can score quick and often and playing away will not affect them, they will have a big crowd. Should be a great game but I see NewCath pulling away at the end of the 3rd quarter.

4 titles for NKY would be great, hope it happens.

I think strength of schedule will play a big part in this game, I have to admit that I don't know much about the teams Corbin plays but I do know about the teams NewCath plays, they beat Simon Kenton pretty handly which is a 6A school who is now in the semi finals this week, they also beat Ryle, Conner, Beechwood. They have played close games and find a way to win those games and with the experience of the NewCath backfield (Kelly & Kues) I think will be to much for Corbin. What I find interesting is no one mention's how well Mark Kelly has been playing he will be a load for Corbin and it is hard to believe that the Watkins kid is better than him. NewCath is very athletic and has so many weapons they can go to. I wish Corbin luck but I don't think they can stop the NewCath offense which is hitting its stride at the right time.

Great game by the Breds, Mark Kelly was dominant 6 TD's, to on punt returns was amazing. Kelly is such a hard runner and refuses to go down can't wait to see how Corbin is going to defend both Kelly and Kues.

NCC, could still be a 1A team they had the choice to move up or stay down as did Highlands they are playing above there class also.

Last they did have a tough schedule and I am not taking anything away from Ft. Campbell last year they deserve to win, NCC did not play very well in that game and shot themselves in the foot to many times. Both are very good and if they play each other again it should be a great game.

I believe stats can be a little misleading, although I don't know the caliber of teams Ft. Campbell has played this year but would hard pressed to say that there schedule was better than NCC.

What kind of styles are these two teams? Meaning what they do on off. def. stuff like that, and also what big games have they had this year and what happened in those games?

NewCath will be ready to play, they are all healthy and ready to make there run so I believe they will beat the Juggs by 2TDS or more.

I'm with Rebel an NKU20, take less teams into the playoffs and make it four total games instead of five. I hate having 6 classes to begin with, something needs to be done because having 0-fers in the playoffs is totally insane. My question is, is that how can KY have a 6 class system when much bigger states like OH only have a 4 class system. My point is that there are more high schools in Cleveland and Cincy combined than there are in all of KY! Theres something wrong there in a big way!

Agreed. NCC may have won convincingly at the last meeting, but Lloyd definitly out hit them. Lloyd MUST stop the big plays. Any team can be beaten on any night. Or something like that. If Lloyd wants to win, they have to believe. I'm sure everyone has heard of David and Golliath... Upsets happen all the time. I sure hope NCC doesn't expect Lloyd to just lay down and give them the game, because that's not going to happen.

I'm not sure what game you were watching but I don't think you can say Lloyd out hit NC

Mexitucky, I would say 8 yards a carry is pretty good and I would agree he is the most underrated back in NKY.

I know NewCath plays a lot of teams form Cincinnati.

I guess the spring will tell us who are the top players in NKY.

So they were not the better team just battle tested?

I have been around this team and I do know that some players question why certain players were playing over others and players were telling me that his offense is predictable. I like coach Styers and I want them to do well I am jsut so frustrated becasue with the talent they have that they are not more consistant year in and year out, I don't expect them to win the state becasue I don't think that is possible considering who they will have to play to get there. I hope you understand my frustration.

WOW! Voice of Reason isn't punt returns, fumbles part of the game and keep in mind that NCC had a touchdown called back, to comment on the long reception what about the 4th down that the QB for Beechwood ran for a touchdown so it lot of things can be said the bottom line is the bette team won. Beechwood has a great team and should and I hope win state, we need to keep the state championchips in NKY.

NewCath plays a great schedule as well, not sure if you were at the regional final last year, so if you want talk clutch, Kelly hit a 3 run triple over CovCath's centerfielder to put NewCath up by 4 runs. Not to mention he is a very good catcher. All I am saying is he needs to be in with the group of players who are the tops in NKY.

A lack of leadership gets you a 49 point loss I don't think so, blaming the players is rediculous, I know a lot of those players and have seen them play quite a bit and they play hard. The coach is the leader and gets them ready to play and obviously they were not ready to play.

I like the differences of opinions and that is what makes this site interesting, if I could add one more thing on the game, when NT ran the 14 yard touchdown he seemed pretty healthy to me. All in all great game and I wish both teams luck in there quest for state titles.

Picking them over Kelly based on what, just asking becasue I can tell you this I bet there offensive numbers aren't thta far off. I would say none of them have the arm Kelly has.

If that is true about the Camels its ashame, you have to really look at it and think what is the problam at CC they have good players every year and they can't be consistant when it comes to winning, they will have a couple good years and then have a few bad years. I like coash Styers but has he lost his team and do they need a change, I am jsut throwing that out there?
