Bad loss to a bad footbal team
-
Rudolph is a bad example. He was ND all the way.
That is true but Elder has been a connection to UC in recent years. Cincy must reel in the local talent before they try to face off against national powers on center stage.
-
Brian Billick- "Hello Andre Woodson, glad to have you part of our team."
That is a possibility. I am surprised they havent let Troy Smith take some snaps to see what he can do and if infact they will be QB shopping.
-
How bout the Brownies... as for the Ravens, it was fun while it lasted.
-
I don't know about the long lay off and no Meeks. Still have to go with UK by 11.
-
You obviously didn't watch Shaffer have a field day against LSU yesterday then.
I was at the UC/WVU game and if Mauk holds on too the ball WVU probably isnt going to the championship if they even do. They run about 5 total plays which are confusing at times but very repetitive. I think I saw them throw down field 1-2 times. If a team gets a 14 point lead on them they aren't handing it to Slaton or letting White keep it. Frankly, I don't know what they would do. There pass defense is very suspect UC should have kept throwing and throwing.

I am not going to waste my time with the debate involving people being "jealous" of OSU. Jealousy or whatever you wanna call it is a side affect to persistent winning. I am an OSU fan but I dont care what other people say. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is that OSU being one of the slowest teams in country with minimal athletes getting beaten by SEC team like schools... how are they one of the NFL leaders in player alumni? A league that is 5X as fast as college ball.
Big Ten prefers smash mouth football with hard hitting defense. SEC likes spread offenses with pure speed calling. Just two different systems. And last year FL's system was better than OSU's, that's all it is.

3 straight BCS games and the talent coming in and coming back for a 4th.... Bucks have a lot to cheer about.
-
I think they do but with their pass D and east to west running I think they would get whacked by an LSU.
-
^ I agree I wish they could have convinced Kyle Rudolph to stay home. UC must recruit aggresively in Cincy to win. They have some phenominal athletes in Cincy as well as the tristate.
-
A lot of rumors are saying he will be playing next semester at USC or UK. Of course, just rumors at this point.
-
From my understanding Gillespie is protected quite well under the memorandum of understanding…
Same thing I have heard. While he doesn't have an official "contract" he has something close to it. They will get it done.
-
I think it is safe to say Mr. Wells will be in a lot of Heisman talk next year.
-
UC played a good game. Whick Mauk fumble killed them most? WVU's 5 plays then the QB was draw enough to get by tonight but I dont know if it will be a month. I am not sold on their pass defense.

Brohms 4 TD's carry UL

Sorry for the confusion all I thought it was bball season in KY 364 days a year except for the UK/UL football game. UK football has done well this year and certainly the real football fans have more to cheer for still.
-
Certainly no school is going to put in a contract you must win a certain amount of games. That wasn't in Tubbys contract and he left, was not fired. I wonder if it has to do more with Billy off the court.
-
I bet Rick thought it was 1996. Nice win.
-
The Bucks flat out dominated the 2nd half. Les Miles come on down...
Now will it cost Les almost 2 mill to go to Ann Arbor or LSU... who picks up the tab if he leaves?
-
What started off so strong for UK ended so quickly. A lot of good memories though and hopefully something to build on. But it doesn't matter does it, it's bball season in the bluegrass?
-
Back to back to back BCS years for Ohio State. I could list a lot of schools, players and AD's who are happy with that. Congrats to the Bucks.

Welcome to the site John...
Thank you, are you buying or selling all the Memphis hype or is it to early to tell?
-
Coach Cal has himself a good ball club. Do the two elite 8's finally break down to a final 4?

Absolutely he is a gamer. The other thing is the incoming freshman coming into an Elder, a Moeller, a St X, a Colerain.... they see kids above them going to UC having good experiences, following their careers... it just strengthens the pipeline.
CSHS - Let me also add I know that Rudolph was clearly for ND and he was a big time talent wanting center stage. UC must prove to the big time recruits that they house big time players.
I also think UC must attack the north. They have to take some 3-4 star recruits from OSU. OSU lands 4 star recruits all over midwest/northern OH. UC has to take some from them.
