I walk in God's Grace every minute of every day and I don't know why He is so good to me. I do not deserve it. Thankful for family, friends and those of you here. So Thank you too, @Guru.

This is all traditional. I started yesterday. Made stock for broth out of neck, giblets, wing tips and neck. Cleaned the house and set up area and got plates, flatware out. Today was prep. 2 sisters come and we cook and talk. Smoked Salmon log made, Fruit salad with cooked dressing, prepped turkeys, 1 for frying, 1 for slow roasting. Cornbread dressing and sage stuffing are prepared and in the fridge, as is broth. Tomorrow. Put turkey in oven. Peal potatoes. I will fixed mashed potatoes, gravy. Others will bring salads, greens, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, deviled eggs and pies. I love the meal, but mostly, I love being in the kitchen with those I love. With guests, I think there will be about 25 of us this year. We watch football and play Euchre in the afternoon. Oh BTW, it is tradition in our family for the men to clean up though we clean as we cook too.
