TP94 Ratings has Murray 62.57 and McCracken 61.65. How much closer can you get? This game could easily be another down to the wire back and forth game just like a year ago. I give McCracken the slightest of edges although nothing would surprise you here outside of it being a defensive battle.

These games are tough. Tilghman is in the same situation this week. Going into a game knowing that without basically some type of miracle that you are going to win takes a lot of fun out of it. I know kids like getting their stats and making some big plays, but by and large these games are hard to watch.

PT 5-0 ACS 1-4 PT has beaten McCracken County, Graves County, Mayfield, Madisonville and Franklin-Simpson ACS has a win against Warren Central and have had losses against Westmoreland (Tn), Monroe County, Glasgow and Logan County PT offense: 53.0 ppg PT defense: 19.8 ppg ACS offense: 11.6 ppg ACS defense: 40.0 ppg With ACS coming off back to back losses to Glasgow and Logan County by scores of 48-0 and 47-7, it seems like this game will just add insult to injury. Outside of getting reps in to work on fixing some things going forward, it's hard to really hype this game up in any kind of way. Tilghman won this game a season ago 48-7. Looking back at the ACS season last year, they are unbelievably close to the same production on offense and defense as far as points scored and allowed goes. Last season they averaged 9.2 ppg on offense and allowed 37.0 ppg on defense. So, so close to this years numbers so far. ACS was 9-3 and had a stout team just back in 2024, but fell on hard times in 2025 and went 0-10. Tilghman got Chance McPike back last night against Franklin Simpson and added him to an offense that honestly didn't skip a beat without him. Next man up applies and there were a lot of guys step up while he was out. At the end of the day, in what is likely to be a running clock, you just have to go out and work on some things for the future that this type of game allows. On a positive note for both teams and all the teams around the state, next week is shaping up to actually feel more like fall and the football temperatures we expect with it. That will definitely be a welcome change.

McCracken led 36-0 at the half and move to 3-2 after the heartbreaking loss to Mayfield last week. McCracken plays Murray next week.

I agree. You summed it up perfectly. Might not win, but maybe could have kept it closer with different decisions. At least give it a try.
