Who has done better or worse than we thought so far? I have not been able to keep up as much as usual and wondering what everybody thought. Teams I have seen or kept up a little bit with.

West Carter- I thought graduation would have hurt them more. I think Coach Webb and the Comets are legit and could be there in the end.

Russell- Playing well after losing a lot in the off season. Coach seems to have them clicking. I heard Skaggs was leading the state in scoring, is that official?

Rowan Co.- winning close games in region and playing a tough schedule, should help them down the road. I think a lot of people expected more from in region margin of victory.

Fleming-Has some nice wins, seems to have picked up the D some.

Greenup-started real slow but picking it up.

Ashland-has some nice wins and weird losses. Coach Biggs will have them ready come tourney time.

Menifee-Not what I was hearing in pre season, maybe they will turn it around.

Fairview-Terry is a beast!

Morgan, Lewis, RoseHill- Long seasons so far.

Have not got see much or hear much about- East Carter, Bath County, Boyd County, Raceland & Elliott Co.

What are your all's thoughts?

I think right now it is a 3 team race Rowan, Ashland, & West. I think teams like Boyd, Fleming and Russell can beat any of those 3 on a given night don't think right now they can run the table and win the region but we still have over 2 months left and that could change.

I agree, but like you said things can change. Teams get some unfound chemistry or go the other way for different reasons.

I think that Coach Kidwell has done a really nice job with his team. They have been scoring in bunches and Skaggs can fill it up.

 

Ashland is decent but they have some real head scratchers in regards to losses.

 

Rowan has ventured out and played some tough teams. They did beat the 9th Region favorite. I still think that they will miss Cross more than people realize.
