It was a game neither team probably wanted to play but a District Seed game that was required. The Lady 'Stangs took care of this one very early mounting a 42-2 halftime lead that extended to as much as 52-2 before Senior Payton Govan banked in a three bomb to make it 52-5. The 'Stangs eventually had a 65-10 (55 pt lead) despite all 11 players playing between 18:15 and 11:06 minutes each.

The Lady 'Stangs improve to 6-2 heading into wednesday nights home encounter with Mason County (2-6) while Silver Grove falls to 0-6 on the young season.

Every Bishop Brossart player scored at least 4 points with Sophomores Sarah Futcher and Abby Stadtmiller leading the attack with 12 and 10 respectively. Junior Maddi Kues connected for a season high of 8. Sophomore Megan Dierig was the leading rebounder with 8 as the Lady 'Stangs controlled the boards to a 48-33 advantage.

Brossart shot 38.1% from the floor while making 50% from the charity stripe. Silver Grove managed just 23.1% shooting and turned the ball over 25 times to the Brossart defense which was solid as ever. Brossart outscored the Lady Trains 33-0 in points off the bench, 18-0 in points off turnovers and held a 24-6 edge in second chance points.

There was no JV game.
