What do you think the outcome to this one will be? I haven't seen Anderson play, but I do know that Garrard has struggled a bit. Garrard does however have the talent and capability of making big plays and scoring a lot of points any given night.

My biggest concern with Garrard right now is point guard play. I've only seen one game and they had Austin Sebastian playing point guard. Sebastian is a terrific player, but he's much better coming off screens and looking to score rather than having to distribute. That probably had a little to do with the lack of overall scoring by the team.

 

As for who should be point guard, I guess Cory Wilson is the only player with much point guard experience, but he's been slowed by an ankle injury. The bottom line is there are a couple point guards in 8th grade but really none at the high school. If Coach Cooper can develop one over the next few weeks, then this Garrard team can be pretty good. Until then, however, there will likely be more low-scoring nights like the last one.
