PRP’s Clemons signs with Knights

Defending Division II national champion Bellarmine added a player to the program when Pleasure Ridge Park forward Max Clemons signed.The 6-4 Clemons averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists as a junior and is considered one of the top players in the Sixth Region.

“Max comes ready to play college basketball from both a mental and physical standpoint,” Bellarmine coach Scott Davenport said. “And, he comes to us from one of the most tradition-rich programs not only in Kentucky, but in the nation.”

Clemons averaged 15.6 points as a sophomore at Scottsburg, Ind., High School, where he played his first two seasons of high school ball.
