Coach Haywood ties the record. Belfry wins 42-13.

I always look forward to this game, enjoy playing Lawrence Co every year.

 

There is a lot of similarities between these teams. Both these programs have devoted fans, bodering on crazed at time, lol. Both teams have played similar styles in the past and they both have always been well coached. Their success hasn't been a result of having a wealth of D1 talent, but rather the kids are blue collar type athletes who just line up and play.

 

There has been some great games between the two and I am really excited that Lawrence has joined the same district with Belfry.

 

Belfry has controlled the series as of late, but most of those games were closely contested and hard fought.

 

I think the Pirates are 3 touchdowns better than the Dawgs this time around, but sometimes that doesn't show on the scoreboard.

 

I'll take Belfry 38-14 but wouldn't be surprised to see it a lot closer than that.
