Heard it earlier today. Wasn't forced out, just decided he didn't want to do it anymore.

Heard last week that he resigned....I know a couple of guys that played for him and they really enjoyed it...Won the only district title the school will see for about another 25 years....

 

I figured they might get somebody better in to take his place, but I just heard they hired David Osborne as the new Coach, and if that's true that just shows that the SV administration doesn't care about baseball at all to hire David Osborne as their coach...

 

Good luck to the boys at Shelby Valley..You'll need it with Osborne behind the helm...

Ive heard that Osborne will be head coach, assistant coach will be Jimmy Tackett who coach at Valley 6 or 7 years ago, and Anthony Hampton. Although Ron Wright wasnt a great coach, he was a great guy. Good luck Shelby Valley

Wasn't Jimmy Tackett the coach who ran the program in the ground before Wright took over?

Yea i think so...he knows alot about the game..just dont see him being a big help .
