Eddie Sketch scored the Colonels only Goal and thus the winning Goal 8 minutes into the game off of a through ball from Evan Talkers. The goal was enough for a win, as CovCath Goalie Mitchell Jacobs recorded the shut-out.

 

The #1 ranked KHSAA Soccer Colonels improve their record to 7-0 and next play Cooper HS @ CovCath Thursday Sept 9th. JV game starts at 5:00pm Varsity @ 6:30pm.

 

The CovCath JV team also won by beating Cin McNicholas by a score of 2-1 behind two goals by Adams Atkinson.

The Colonels are ranked #23 in the nation according to ESPN rise. Good for Coach Mott and the Cov Cath soccer players.

It should be noted that these games are starting prior to the posted time of 6:30. I missed half the first half by arriving at 6:20. (probably due to the earlier nightfall)
