George Rogers Clark 2011/2012

What does George Rogers Clark need to do to improve in 2011/2012? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

GRC lost Prisha Rogers, Catlin Crump, Shammy Williams, and Tayler Kindred. I still believe that GRC will be one of the teams to beat in the 10th this coming year. We return with experience, Kelsi Parido, Lexxus Graham, Sandra Skinner and Brittani Gay.

They always are. The 10th region title goes through the 40th district.

With that being said, one advantage that the 40th district teams in the regional tourney have is we have to be in opposite bracketts. Skinner played last year as a 8th grader, and Graham as a Freshman. Look for both of these girls to have a great year. Also, a player that had moved to the 15th region, has now moved back to GRC. Heard she was a great shooter. She will be a Junior.

And that is why it makes it so difficult for a non-40th team to win the 10th region. More than likely, you're going to have to beat both Clark County & Montgomery County. Getting the best of one of them is quite an accomplishment. Getting the best of both is almost unheard of--especially when you have to do so in matter of just a day or two.

Agree.

Where is the girls 10th region this year?

I'm guessing it'll be in Northern Kentucky. Three years ago it was @ Harrison County (38th). Two years ago @ Mason County (39th). Last year Bourbon County (40th). That makes it the 37th's turn, so perhaps Campbell County?

If you find out let me know. The boys I assume will be at Montgomery Co as it is the 40th district turn to host it.

Goldie, it is the 37th's turn to host. The site is yet to be determined. There were some plans for the BOKC to host the 9th & 10th girls, but those plans may have come to a halt. Perhaps Campbell County Middle School, from what I'm told.
