Six players from the Cincinnati Steam will represent the squad at the Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League mid-summer classic.

 

 

Kevin Bower, Zach Isler, Ryan Martin, Nick Priessman, Jake Proctor and Robby Sunderman will suit up for the all-star squad at Great American Ball Park, July 13.

 

 

Isler, who graduated from Covington Catholic High School and plays at the University of Cincinnati, has also been one of the Steam’s more consistent arms. The closer is 2-0 with a 0.90 ERA in eight appearances. In 10 innings, he’s allowed only one earned run, while allowing no walks.

Did Zach pitch as UC's closer this year?

I went to the Steam game last night and Zach came in to shut it down in the 9th. He was bringing some heat!! There was a scout with a radar gun behind home and he was clocking him in the low to mid 90's consistantly.
