Danville's Junior catcher Andrew Lasure has been walked 44 times this Spring. He brook the school record during the Dist. Tournament, going ahead of Paul Morse (40) and Rich Witten (41). 44 puts Lasure third on the State list for a season. The record is held by Brad Wilkerson (51) in 1994.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this young man bat. He does have excellent plate discipline. He also just has a real nice swing and a smooth stroke. He's a tough out.

Just out of curiousity, how many PA's and how many strike outs?
