Well pitched and well played game by both teams.

 

Kuebbing went 7 innings for St Henry giving up 3 hits and 3 walks.

Brown went 4.67 innings for Lloyd giving up 1 hit and 3 walks (came out of game with soreness in the forearm)

Molitor went 2.33 innings for Lloyd giving up 2 hits and a walk

 

Defensively, no errors for either team.

 

Both offenses struggled.

Lloyd had runners in scoring position in the 1st, 5th, 6th, and 7th but could only get one run across.

St Henry scored 1 run in the 4th and one in the 6th.

 

Tough way to end the season for the Juggs, but they have improved vastly. Good luck to the Crusaders as they move on.

I had to do a double take when I read about this one in the paper. It said St. Henry beat DIXIE 2-1.
