Harrison County is way to low in this poll. This team has a great deal of talent, and will be tough to beat come tournament time.

I know Harrison Co had some early out of state losses. What teams have they lost to instate?

Western Hills, and Male. Harrison was up 8-2 on Male in the top of the 6th when Harrison had 5 or 6 consecutive errors. Those errors would not be made now.

To show how goofy these polls can be: Last week, Beechwood was #19. This past week, they mauled a couple of weak teams and lost a close game to NCC, who is now ranked #28. So understandable they would expect to drop some. However, they are nowhere to be found in the top 41 teams. A drop of at least 21 spots for losing to NCC seems a bit excessive.

Any team in this poll will be tough to beat during tournament time, so I am not sure what that has to do with it. Also which team that is ranked ahead of them would you replace with Harrison County? I think Harrison is very good and they did suffer a huge loss with Logan but there is not any team ranked ahead of them that I look at and say yes Harrison is better than that team. Just because Harrison is ranked #12 doesn't necessarily mean anything bad about them but I think people sorely underestimate how good baseball teams are in this state.

In addition, the polls mean absolutely nothing. The Baseball Polls are probably the least accurate of the 3 major sports.

I agree Hilltopper these polls mean absolutley nothing...anything can happen on any given day!
