Not a surprise but for me, a disappointment.:madman: Owen had played Walton tough last year. Owen won the first match up last year and Walton the second. Not a good day for the Lady Bearcats they looked like they were still rusty. Owen hit the ball well and played hard. Congrats to them.

I am surprised because Owen lost 2 key starters to graduation and the starting shortstop is out with broken arm. But Owen still has solid pitching and can hit. Their defensvive mobility is suspect, but they did not have to move to make many plays last night. The Bearcats are and will be very strong and should be the favorite to win the 8th Region All A.
