I remeber this story evry time a parent yells obscenities at the coach and every time I hear a parent talk about how their kid should be playing more but the coach....... These days I think all of us know that coaches are very accessible while on the field, leaving stadiums, etc. not just while in their office. That security is so minimal is the scary part whether in the school building or at an event like a game. This is a great story of turning negatives into motivation and focusing energy on success in football.

In the article, he mentioned he has instant name recognition and hopes he can do something on the field to earn it...well coach, you have and glad to read he's recovering well after the liver damage.

 

Hopefully, a possible great ending to a tragic event.
