#1 seed - Spencer County - coached by 8th region COY Jacob Barmore and featuring 8th region POY Logan Dunbar

 

#2 seed - Collins - Curtis Turley's first year team has won 4 of its last five, and has been tested under fire - two of those wins were in OT.

 

#3 seed - Shelby County - tough year for Rockets after school split, but have been playing better of late. Shelby lost by just 5 to Spencer County at Spencer on 2/8 and by just 6 to Gallatin County in OT on 2/18.

 

#4 seed - Anderson County - Bearcats have lost 10 of last 11, but seven of those losses were by 4, 3, 4, 4, 7, 1, and 9 points. Shelby defeated Anderson on a desparation 20 foot one-handed hook/push shot from the right wing under pressure as time expired...

 

#5 seed - Eminence - Not your father's Eminence - these Warriors have played tough all season, and finished as 8th Region All-A runner-ups to Gallatin.

 

Boys and girls' games run every night, from Monday, 2/21 through Saturday, 2/26. Boys' championship is at 7 pm on Saturday, 2/26.

Okay lets talk straight, who wins the 30 district Anderson, Shelby, Collins, Spencer or Eminence? Spencer won the overall seed of #1 and has the number 1 player in Logan Dunbar but who wins. I say wins it all and goes to Region and makes a strong run. What does anyone else say?

Looks like a great District Tournament really wish I could be at 2 places at one time but I think Spencer will win District. I have seen them play 4 or 5 times and the Dunbar boys are as strong as anything I have seen. The younger Dunbar has gone against some big time players and I would have to say had the best low post moves I have ever seen and someone said he is just a Sophmore could someone tell me if that is true.

Spencer has a strong low post play with the Dunbar boys but guard play is shakey. Lets talk 8th Region who wins 8th Region

I am going out on a limb and picking Anderson County to beat Eminence and then upset Spencer Co. Collins wins the District Tournament!
