It may take some time to get used to, but this alignment looks much better in terms of evening out the regions. The only thing I thought they should have done differently is made the southern region the 6th (it borders the 5th and has most of the current 6th region teams in it) and the northern region the 7th.

It wasnt supposed to be about evening up the regions. Its funny how the Map makes a dip to include Male in the new 6th and then raises back up to put J-town in the new 7th. Realignment was brought on by volleyball and soccer. Interesting how only basketball was addressed. Changing the name of the regions was just stupid. Like someone said earlier, the 6th now borders the 8th and the 7th now borders the 5th. If you ask me it just helped all the private schools in the new 6th including Male and Manual. Both will be guaranteed into regions and so will St.X and Trinity. From top to bottom the new 7th will be better than the new 6th. As far as girls, Im sure Mercy's coach is excited about his new district and region. Not much competion for him other than Butler.
