I wasn't at the game, but I understand McCreary led much of the game and was up by 7 at the end of the third quarter.

McCreary won this game in every phase except the final score. The Officiating in this contest was terrible. It is sad that Officials can do what they sometimes do to Kids in some Games. If we didn't know better it looks like everything is very Calculated. Best of Luck to Rodney and Wayne Co. Looking Fwd. to your trip to McCreary.

Ha. This game is the talk of the region. Word I got is that McCreary just blew the lead and then Raider Rob got very badly outcoached by Woods in the last minute or so. I have also been told that Robert may face some kind of penalty by the ruling powers for his behavior after the game. Just another case of Raider Rob choking and letting Coach Woods outcoach him again. Could not have happened to a nicer guy.

Rob needs to face some kind of penalty. He stood outside the officials dressing room and told them that he drove separate from the bus and he could wait all night if he had too. I didn't actually see who finally got him to leave but the officials were escorted out by the police.

 

As in any game there were good calls and bad calls made both ways. Wayne played the worst game of the season they didn't score in the 2nd quarter and went in at he half down by 11 (I think). Wayne came out in the second half and worked their butts off to put them in a position to have a chance to win. McCreary can blame the officials all they want but it's there own fault. Seems like I hear McCreary complain more than any other school regardless of who they are play. Wonder Why?

According to the people that were telling me about it( one was a guy who at some points wears black and white striped shirts) Wayne got the bad calls. They said in the 4th quarter McCreary threw it all over the gym and Wayne made shots off turnovers. Now if any of you know anything about this years Raiders, know that their guard play is very suspect, and they know that Raider Rob has a history of not winning close games. Im sure Mr Jones will get to tell his stories to proper authorities when he gets called in.....

I don't have too take anyone's word about the game. I was there and the Officials took the game. Dixon was knocked to the floor and the ball took for a layup to tie the score. Then Dixon was knocked to the floor on a shot at buzzer by two Wayne Co. players again no call. I've seen Wayne Co, Play 4 times and yes they shot the ball worse in this game than in other games I've seen but that has nothing to do with this game and the way it was Called. SAD!!!

IMO if Wayne Co. and Pulaski Co. are the number 1 and 2 teams in the Region, and I believe they are. McCreary Central is not far behind.

I asked some people that attended that game yesterday and they said McCreary blew the game with turnovers. Said McCreary played well up to the 4th and basically melted down.

Guard play was a little suspect. Still Ref's let a couple calls go unattended and the results was a McCreary Loss in a game they could have won and should have won.
