Congratulations to the WV LadyBearcats and coaching staff.

Congrats to Kelli Dixon for being the tournament MVP!

Congrats to Coach Miller and the Bearcats. W-V struggled offensively the whole tournament with many BAD offensive possessions, partially due to their opponents sticking to the scouting report, turnovers, and the Bearcats not making adjustments offensively. The Bearcats defense and overall talent prevailed in this tournament which is a nice luxury to have. But, unfortunately, the Bearcats run for the All A State title could come up well short if their offense contiues to be stagnant and turnover plagued. The good news for Bearcat fans is the the coaching staff has couple of weeks to prepare for their trip to Richmond.

I would have to agree about their offense and actually I didn't think their defense was that good either, WV relied on "free throw line" defense. The game last night could have been a lot closer if WHS would have hit their free throws. There will need to be much improvement if they want to advance very far in the All A State Tourney. Congrats to WV on winning the 8th region all A.

Congrats to WV ..represent the 8th well in State!

Also congrats to these girls that made the all tourney team. I have watched so many of these girls play for years and think the 8th has a lot of talent! If I have left anyone out please add to the list
