Anderson County plays host to Collins on Friday in the first-meeting between the two.

Anderson has struggled the first month of the year; Collins has been a bit inconsistent, but has shown signs of being a real threat by the end of the year.

Collins' Curtis Turley - formerly head coach of Shelby County in the late 90s - renews a rivalry with Anderson County's Glen Drury.

Who wins and why?

This game will kick off Pegasus Sports Network's coverage of the 2011 Bearcats and Lady Bearcats. Coverage begins at 7 pm with a 30 minute pregame. Go to http://www.pegasussportsky.com, click on the Anderson County logo, then click on the game listing.

This will be real interesting game between one of the shortest Anderson teams in a long while, and a Collins team that has had some success here early.

With Spencer County fielding its strongest team in a long while, the loser of this game may find itself on the outside looking in at the region tournament...

I will be looking for the out come of this game.
