West Jessamine 72 Lafayette 55

A balanced attack and cutting down on the turnovers resulted in a good win for the Colts. I'm a little surprised the Generals were a preseason #14. Must of been a good feeling for Coach Kelley exacting a bit of revenge on Lafayette.

Lafayette will go nowhere or do anything until a set lineup plays on a regular basis together...too much substitution midway through the season...still no role identification for Lafayette...Coach is taking frustration out on his players instead of looking in the mirror...when are things going to change!!

nikeman49 ,you tell these people on here what u believe to be the truth ,you are a joke

Just go to a game, then reply back......nothing but the absolute truth.......

So you want us to believe that Coach Coldiron has forgot how to coach since last year? He took them to the finals of the region - a very tough region at that! He does a super job at Lafayette and has done a super job everywhere else he has been. I haven't seen Lafayette play this year, but I can guarantee you that Coach C hasn't made one turnover, missed any shots, or made substitions to lose the game on purpose. The players win the games and the players lose the games. Right now Lafayette's players aren't doing enough to win and that's the bottom line.

Sounds like "Wheel of Fortune" coaching. Spin that wheel enough times and you'll eventually hit bankrupt.

Had two players last year that covered up for him....Walker and Hagans played on athletic ability and had 35 points between them each game....they have departed and things must change...Lafayette must run set plays and screen for each other to get shots, they aren't doing that and their record proves the point....put your players in a spot where they can win, not just run up and down the floor and play.....encourage you to go watch a game...I'm not bashing coaching, just a true Lafayette fan that has seen lots of games and thinks moves need to be made here in this situation..

I believe bad coaches can take good talent and have average teams. I also believe good coaches can take average players and make them into winners. If you have the combo of good coaching and good players then most of the time you have a great team. I just wanted to add my point of view on this topic. I believe coach Coldiron is one of those good coaches. Lafayette will be a better team by the end of the season.

I hope you are right.....Go Generals!!
