The Dragons still have a ways to go. Tonight was a positive step, as they got an extremely significant contribution from Victor Smith (20+), a player they will need to be that other option to compliment Fant and Shanklin.

Good win for WC. Any other stats?

Fant had 17 and Shanklin had 18. I would describe Shanklin's as the most whisper quiet 18 I can remember. I would never have guessed he put up that much. I remember he had some nice driving baskets, but his jumper wasn't really going last night. Central went 0-fer from behind the arc, which may be a problem against some bigger teams.

One thing that stunned me was that they were outstanding from the free throw line. Better than I can remember them being.
