GRC played tough, but in the end - could not contain NCC's big hitters. It was a great volleyball game! Thanks to the 5 seniors that have lead this Lady Cardinal team!

I was really impressed with #14, #13 from NCC. They were lean, powerful hitters who seemed to be everywhere on the court. Best of luck in the rest of the tourny.

#14 is junior Maggie O'Day and #13 is the setter Taylor Snyder also a junior .

Sounds that the George Rogers Clark coach is making excuses about losing to a better team and a smaller school http://www.winchestersun.com/stories/2010/10/21/spo.671343.sto Yes the majority of NCC players play Club ball as could George Rogers Clark players , there are Club Ball teams that are from Lexington which I believe is close to Clark Co . The assertion that NCC recruits players is an out and out fabrication . Just an excuse to make her and her players fell better . Everyone knows recruting is illegal and against KHSAA rules . If Ms Curry knows of any illegal recruting REPORT IT . Dont make statements in the local newspaper that are wrong and misleading .

I guess if you win the region 4 straight years (5 if they win tonight) you must be cheating. This is a sad quote from a high school coach. GRC had a great season and there is no need to besmirch another teams reputation just because they lost.

NCC beat Highlands in the finals 25-15, 25-15. The Thoroughbreds dominated from the start and never looked back. Congrats to all the players who participated in the 10th region tourney. Good luck to the Breds at State!
