This game would be ugly regardless if the so called leaders were starting or not. I'm glad to see the coaches are making an attempt at disciplining these players however this is what is done in the preseason. These kids apparently didn't get the message at that time. A quarter of the season is gone at this point. Personally would have told them if they can't make film which is when you see what it is you are doing wrong with the goal of fixing/correcting then don't come back. Can lose 60+ to 0 with JV and or freshman players who STILL CARE. Set the example now a lot of underclassmen being asked to be leaders will things be better a year from now when they are older if they were/are allowed to get away with it today? These players need to understand it is a privilege to play on Friday nights and I assure you they will miss it wether they are winning or losing if it is taken away.

I feel bad for the Dayton coaches (yes I realize one of the issues was self inflicted but.................) they do not have their head coach for three weeks and now the players are no shows............................................Guys keep your chins up...things will get better....Hope the parents are supporting you in this decision.
