Both teams played two halves.

 

Marshall County won the first half 12-0, scoring both TDs on long plays.

 

Trigg County won the second half 17-7. Marshall Co scored on an 80-yard pass for their lone score. Outside of that, Trigg outgained them 156-5 in yards in that half.

 

Both teams have work to do.

Both have dates with Mayfield in the next 2 weeks. Scribe, how do you expect Mayfield to stack up with these 2 and who is better right now, first half Marshall or @nd half Trigg?

Marshall scored on two 80-yard plays and a 70-yard play. Other than that, they ran 35 plays and gained 52 yards. Marshall's o-line needs some work.

 

Trigg looked much better in the second half. They had the dropsies early which killed their drives. I think Mayfield wins both.
