Who will take over the Newport program?

For years when you mentioned Newport baseball you always knew who what family was in charge of the program. Ray and Grady Brown were the ones that molded boys into men. Is there a replacement for Grady out there? True there will be a replacement but no one will ever be the coach that he and his brother were to the players.

From what I hear it's going to be Dennis Ollier. He'd be a good choice. He knows what to expect from the kids there. He's been involved in the game for years and I think he's even had some experience down at Bracken Co.

Dennis did a nice job with the Bracken County program until the powers that be rid themselves of all their Northern Ky. folk:lol:
